In an interview for Salzburg-based magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apropos.or.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APROPOS<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kowi-salzburg.at\/en\/team\/univ-prof-dr-hanan-badr\/\">Hanan Badr<\/a> explains why peace communication demands far more than goodwill: it is about framing, about the invisible voices in the public discourse \u2013 and about whose perspective gets heard at all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In conversation with Konstantia Url-Praher, Badr draws a clear line between what journalism can achieve and what structurally stands in its way: political interests, commercial platform logics, and the seductive pull of escalation in an algorithmic-driven attention machine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Badr&#8217;s perspective is shaped by her research across international institutions \u2013 from <a href=\"https:\/\/cu.edu.eg\/Home\">Cairo University<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fu-berlin.de\/\">Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/a>, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gust.edu.kw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gulf University for Science and Technology and Orient-Institut Beirut<\/a>.
