Jannik Kretschmer is a doctoral candidate and research assistant at the Division of Organizational Communication at the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Salzburg. After completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on marketing and public relations in 2016, he graduated from the master’s program in applied communication science at the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel in 2019. In his final thesis, he analyzed various perspectives and potential applications of transmedia storytelling in organizational communication. Subsequently, he worked as a Change and Communication Manager for an international company before returning to academia. In his research and teaching, Jannik Kretschmer focuses, among other things, on the various facets and effects of digitalization as well as on new forms of work in organizational communication.
