Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission to the Master’s programme Communication, Culture & Participation, applicants must present
-
A relevant Bachelor’s degree (university or university of applied sciences) or an equivalent post-secondary qualification from a recognised Austrian or foreign institution, and
-
Proof of language proficiency – normally German at level B2 (CEFR) or English at level C1.
Formal application procedure
1. Download and complete the official Application for Admission form.
2. Submit the form—together with all required certificates (certified copies and, where necessary, sworn translations)—via the Admissions Office contact portal of Paris Lodron University Salzburg (PLUS).
3. Upon receipt, the Admissions Office will carry out a preliminary equivalence assessment of your previous degree and, if applicable, verify language qualifications.
4. The Admissions Office will notify you whether your previous degree is fully recognised or if up to 45 ECTS of additional courses are required, and it will outline the steps for your in-person enrolment.
Only after the completed application dossier has been uploaded through the contact portal can the Admissions Office initiate the formal admission process.
