Nils Förster is a PhD student in the Division of Organizational Communication. He completed his Master’s degree in Organizational Communication at the University of Greifswald in 2024, focusing on theories of organizational communication and employer branding. His master’s thesis examined how employers structurally stage relationship quality linguistically in their responses to critical reviews while performatively undermining it.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Media and Communication Science at the Technical University of Ilmenau in 2022, specializing in digital change communication. His undergraduate thesis analyzed the stereotypical representation of East Germans in headlines of German newspapers.

His research interests include analyzing organizational discrepancies between talk and action, particularly concerning questions of socio-ecological transformation.
